College Counseling Services

With over 20 years of experience in college counseling and admissions, we provide personalized support for students from all backgrounds—from those with exceptional achievements to those who have overcome significant challenges.

Working closely with families, educational professionals, and therapeutic programs, we guide students through a developmentally appropriate process that includes  institutional selection, application strategy and completion, essay guidance, and interview preparation. Our services extend beyond traditional college admissions to include transfer applications, gap-year guidance, research and assistance for summer opportunities, and graduate school.

Our approach centers on authentic self-discovery, helping students present their most genuine selves while identifying universities and communities where they will truly thrive. Our mission is to minimize stress, maximize excitement, and ensure every student finds their path to success.

  • For a variety of reasons, some students aren’t ready or able to pursue a traditional college path. We provide guidance in exploring alternative options for these young adults.

  • Many boarding schools offer a post-graduate (PG) program, in which students can spend the school year gaining independence and developing skills to better prepare for college. Students experience living in a dorm setting, some choosing to focus on boosting their academics, advancing in a specific co-curricular, or participating in internships. PG programs are not a repeat of 12th grade but dedicated programs designed to promote college readiness.

  • Gap year programs offer unique opportunities for young adults to gain real-world and life experiences in various settings across the continental United States and abroad. The options are vast and can range from travel to cultural immersion to community service, internships, and outdoor experiential. Additional themes of the Gap Year Program can include:

  • For young adults who benefit from more supportive programming after high school graduation, there is a range of post-secondary options. Students have the opportunity to live away from home in structured environments that promote daily living skills, continued academics or vocational training, or therapeutic services.

  • Our collaborative and thorough process allows us to get to know the client more thoughtfully and deeply. We begin the process with a consultation, during which we exchange information to help you understand our process and support you in determining the best options. During the consultation, we will request an overview of your young adult's history and the reasons they are seeking an alternative program. Based on all available information, our goal is to provide a carefully selected list of options for your young adult and guide your family through the admission process.

  • I want to thank you for all you do. I feel you go above and beyond. Can’t thank you enough. I have a secure feeling knowing you’re there.
